What started as a half-joking idea turned into a legit business.

In just two days at Oaktoberfest, we sold 1,200 pretzels, bringing in $12,602 in revenue and $6,837 in net profit—with zero competition and a whole lot of demand.

But my favorite part? The Sankey diagram that breaks down exactly where every dollar wentingredients, booth fees, supplies, labor—it all added up fast, but so did our sales.

We did this for fun, love, and a little rebellion—and somehow ended up running an insanely successful micro-business. Turns out, spotting a market gap and making killer beer cheese is a pretty great business strategy.
