Social Connection in the Modern World: Insights from the U.S. Census Household Pulse Survey

Launching…as a social scientist! First, a candid reflection.
I don’t think I’ve struggled with my identity, purpose, or self-worth more than in 2024. When I left a stable career path, I was terrified. I’d worked my whole life to achieve the kind of success affirmed by my W2 + diploma, yet my gut told me to leave.
Since then, I’ve been on an uncomfortable path of self-reinvention.
But I’ve learned this:
🫂 Nothing fascinates me more than our relationships, emotions, and behavior.
🎨 I want to live at the intersection of data and design.
🌱 Mentorship and authenticity matter FAR more to me than titles or salaries.
This report embodies all 3.
More about the report

Literally. Data collected monthly nationwide by US Census Bureau.
